Seven Deadly Sins

_____________________________________________

This project first started as a series of free verse poems and, over time, it had expanded into an illustration print series.

While using the same creative imagery that was tied into the poem, I illustrated the creatures so that each was unique to that particular poem and sin. The use of red in the poems, as well as in the figures, was a way to bring unity to the collection without sacrificing the uniqueness of each image.

For this project, I used a specific graphic look, which meant working with medium to heavy line-work and stylized shading. A majority of the process for all of my projects and work is digital. This project was sketched, inked, and colored in Adobe Photoshop.
